Chloe on Madison is a vibrant, mixed-use home with 137 apartment units, restaurant and retail space, and truly memorable amenity spaces that create and nourish community at Pike and Pine on Capitol Hill in Seattle, Washington.

Chloe on Madison apartments earned LEED Platinum Certification

The Chloe on Madison mixed-use apartment building project earned a LEED Platinum certification. The design achieves an innovative balance of creativity and technical solutions.

The exterior cladding, Swisspearl fiber cement architectural panels, earned the EU’s 5A rating – giving them a standard life expectancy of over 50 years. The through-color panels are available in more than 60 colors and never need painting. The panels are air-cured for four weeks, making them dense and robust and saving energy during manufacturing. The panels, designed to perform beautifully for decades and backed by a 40-year warranty, are virtually maintenance-free.

Through-color, cement composite architectural panels with a 50+ year life expectancy

Large black Swisspearl panels are used on the north end of the building, while almost all of the rest of the building is clad in 6”x5’ white Swisspearl planks. These large panels create a distinctive look and reduce installation time and labor costs.
